As a Tax-Exempt 501 C-3 Non-profit, the mission of the Brass Quintet is the “Preservation of the Arts and Arts Education”. We believe that for Classical Chamber Music to thrive, we must be willing to reimagine how audiences consume our Art. To achieve this, we regularly perform in non-traditional spaces trying to bring in new audience members who wouldn’t otherwise have access to our music. Last of all, we strive to give back to our community through our education and charitable concerts.
Our yearly season includes 3 Public Chamber Concerts targeting new audiences and featuring new and unique repertoire; free Student Educational Concerts throughout Illinois focusing on underserved communities'; free Concerts at Homeless Shelters and food kitchens; free concerts for local Senior Citizen Communities; and Taps for Military Funerals.
